WHO CAN ENROLL?

Class is open to all Adults, College Students, and High School students ages 16 and up.  No students accepted under the age of 16.  

 

IS EXPERIENCE NEEDED?

No experience necessary, this class is for beginners, hobbyists, and professionals alike.  We teach you what you need to know, from the beginning.

WHAT IS A 'POP-UP' CLASS?

We use the term 'Pop-Up' class as we will only hold a class between our busy project schedule when we have the available time.  Classes are no-longer on a set, year-long, rotating schedule as they once were. Our professional and studio projects are keeping us very busy living our dreams.  We love what we do and are equally passionate about teaching.  Therefore, when we can, we still want to help you live your dreams by offering you pop-up classes and workshops to help get you on your way.  Classes may or may not repeat, as it all depends on our busy schedule, so be sure to enroll when they are offered.

ENROLLMENT DEADLINE:
There is an enrollment deadline set in order to have FX kits available for students on the first class day.  Be sure to enroll by these dates (Please see NOW ENROLLING page for respective enrollment deadline dates).  No enrollments accepted after enrollment deadlines.  Seating is limited so reserve your spot and enroll early.

• Credit/Debit Cards: 

Enroll online by clicking the red ENROLL HERE button on class page, taking you to the Events Page. Click REGISTER NOW, select the number of enrollments, and click CHECKOUT.  Complete STEP 1 by filling in the required student information, then click CONTINUE.  Complete STEP 2 with your payment information, and click BUY NOW to complete your purchase securely.

• PayPal: 

Enroll online by clicking the red ENROLL HERE button on class page, taking you to the Events Page. Click REGISTER NOW, select the number of enrollments, and click CHECKOUT.  Complete STEP 1 by filling in the required student information, then click CONTINUE, taking you to STEP 2.  Select PayPal and then click BUY NOW.  You will be redirected to PayPal where you can complete your purchase securely.

 

• Checks & Money Orders:

All checks and money orders must be received by Enrollment Deadline, and should be made out to: Kosart Studios, LLC and sent to:  760 Burr Oak Drive, Westmont, IL 60559. PAYMENT PLANS:

Payment plans are available.  EARLY BIRD PRICES are NOT VALID for Payment Plan, only REGULAR PRICES apply. For Payment Plan, all class fees MUST BE PAID IN FULL on or before the beginning of the First Class Day, or student will not be allowed to attend the class. Please use the steps below to purchase a Payment Plan online:

• PAY DEPOSIT:

You can select a Payment Plan to reserve your spot by clicking the red ENROLL HERE button on class page, taking you to the Events Page.  Click REGISTER NOW, select the "PAYMENT PLAN - DEPOSIT" option, and click CHECKOUT.  Complete STEP 1 by filling in the required student information, then click CONTINUE.  Complete STEP 2 with your payment method, and click BUY NOW to complete your DEPOSIT purchase securely.  

 

• PAY BALANCE:

To pay the balance of your Payment Plan by the beginning of the first day of class, click the red ENROLL HERE button on class page, taking you to the Events Page.  Click REGISTER NOW, select the "PAYMENT PLAN - FINAL BALANCE" option, and click CHECKOUT.  Complete STEP 1 by filling in the same required student information as before, then click CONTINUE.  Complete STEP 2 with your payment method, and click BUY NOW to complete your DEPOSIT purchase securely.

CLASS FEES:
All class fees must be paid in full by first day of class.  Student's spot will be reserved only upon receipt of either full payment or deposit for payment plan.  Due to expensive tools and materials supplied by Kosart Studios to the students, class fees and deposits are non-refundable. Enroll Early to take advantage of our Early Bird Pricing and save money on enrollment.  After Early Bird deadlines, registration goes to original prices. (Please see our NOW ENROLLING page for respective Early Bird deadline dates).  Enroll early to ensure your spot at discounted prices.

ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED:

All class makeups, materials, and tools needed comes included in the class fee.  Everything you need for the class comes in the kit.  Kosart Studios uses only the best makeups, materials, and tools on the market. Not only do you get these professional grade, industry standard products to build your special FX kit with, you get the knowledge of how to use your FX kit effectively. We build you an extensive special FX kit specific to each class, composed of products used by Pro SPFX Artist J. Anthony Kosar and his FX team both on set and in studio.  Depending on the class, Kosart will ask for your skin tone to customize your kit to match you, such as Light or Dark Skin Illustrator Palettes.  Makeups, materials, tools, and prosthetic assortments subject to change.  ALLERGY WARNING: Latex and Latex products will be used in these classes.

 

CONFIRMING ENROLLMENT:

Once you enroll online, you should get a payment confirmation in your email.  You will get a specific enrollment confirmation email from Kosart Studios after the enrollment deadline during the week prior to the class to the same email address connected with your enrollment.  If you do not receive an email confirming enrollment, please contact us at Learn@Kosart.com.  Please do not email the studio email address at bottom of page.

COURSE DATES:
All course dates are subject to change.  If a class or class day is canceled and/or postponed, it is up to Kosart Studios when the class will be rescheduled.  If classes are canceled and/or postponed by Kosart Studios only, students will have the option to keep their spot for the rescheduled dates or receive a partial refund based on day(s).  Kosart Studios and J. Anthony Kosar are not responsible for outside fees incurred due to cancellations and/or postponements.  If a student misses a class day(s) for whatever reason, there will be no discount nor refund of any kind for the missed day(s).  Missed class days cannot be made up as this pop-up class may never be repeated due to Kosart Studios' busy work schedule.

 

ZERO-TOLERANCE:

Kosart Studios has zero-tolerance for harassment, bullying, abuse, and discrimination of any kind. All students are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner, and respect the other students, teachers, assistants, and Kosart Studios employees. Anyone treating others in a disrespectful or negative manner will be requested to leave without refund. 

CLASS SCHEDULE:
Each Masterclass will take place in one week, Monday through Friday from 10am to 5 pm with a 1 hour lunch break.  Students may either bring their lunch or eat at one of many nearby fast food restaurants. (Please see the NOW ENROLLING page for class dates).
